“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made loincloths for themselves. Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden at the time of the evening breeze, and they hid themselves from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. So the Lord God called out to the man and said to him, “Where are you? ” And he said, “I heard You in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.” Then He asked, “Who told you that you were naked? Did you eat from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from? ””
Genesis 3:7-11 HCSB
I was discussing Genesis 3 with my friend, Tamara Marsh, and something she pointed out stuck with me and God has really been speaking to me concerning it. I’ve read over this one simple question in Genesis but it never hit me until she pointed it out...
“Who told you that?”
God asked Adam, “who told you that you were naked?” Just as He asked Adam then He is asking us today, “who told you that?”
Who told you that you should fear? Who told you to be shameful? Who said that you were condemned? Who said you weren’t loved? Who said you aren’t enough? Who said you are limited? Who said you can’t overcome? Who said that you lack? Who said that you were sick?
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
Then God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters, separating water from water.” So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above the expanse. And it was so.
Then God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so.
Then God said, “Let the earth produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.” And it was so.
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night. They will serve as signs for festivals and for days and years. They will be lights in the expanse of the sky to provide light on the earth.” And it was so.
Then God said, “Let the water swarm with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.”
Then God said, “Let the earth produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that crawl, and the wildlife of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so.
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, all the earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; He created him in the image of God; He created them male and female.”

"If God didn't say it, it doesn't exist."
- Prophet Darnell
Throughout Genesis 1 we see God SPEAK everything into EXISTENCE which shows us that things can't come forth until God speaks it.
The enemy many times will try to present us with obstacles, medical reports and so forth to keep us in fear or from moving forward in who God created us to be but, IF GOD DIDN'T SAY IT, IT DOESN'T EXIST.
When people, voices or even our own minds try to condemn our nakedness, make us shameful, fearful, feel guilt, put limitations on us or make us doubt, we must pause, reflect and ask ourselves, “who told me that?”
If their words aren’t inspired by Christ, if the voice isn’t of Christ and if those thoughts don’t align with the Word of God, trash it because it doesn’t exist.
It isn't God telling us we aren't good enough, it isn't God saying that there are limitations/obstacles and that this is the end for our lives. God didn't tell us we have cancer or are bipolar. IF GOD DIDN'T SAY IT, IT DOESN'T EXIST. Stop listening to the enemy. We must stop believing the report of the enemy over God’s promise. We must stop allowing satan to freely talk to us.
The devil is a liar and unable to speak truth. Everything that comes from his mouth is twisted and false. His words have no life and hold no power. The devil knows he is a liar and powerless...he knows that he can't speak and things come forth but he also understands that life and death are in the power of our tongues (Proverbs 18:21). So he plants seeds in our minds in hopes that our imagination will take over, it will get rooted in our hearts and we will act on and speak it ourselves. This is why it's imperative that we cast down vain imaginations (2 Corinthians 10:5) and test everything by the Spirit (1 John 4:1)
Of course satan will come along with things that seem believable and true. He is the master manipulator. He twists truths to seem factual. He takes parts of the Word and misconstrues it so that we believe it’s the whole Word. He presents physical facts that go against spiritual truth.

The devil is a master at fear...
Whatever “facts” the enemy has been showing you, take them to the Truth (John 14:6). If the Truth didn’t say it, it doesn’t exist. Stop speaking it. Stop claiming it. Stop acting on it. We only speak, live and act on the words of God.
